– ABOUT OUR ACADEMY –

Fightworx Academy was established in 2010 by Darren Yeoman, who is a BJJ Black belt. His aim was to bring together the best combat sports instructors in the local area to form a strong team of martial artists and combat athletes. The team has gone from strength to strength since then, including a recent upgrade to our new premises. Our academy caters for children and adults from beginners all the way up to elite level competitors in Thai Boxing, Brazilian Jiu Jitsu and Mixed Martial Arts. We are proud of our excellent coaching team and we are passionate about providing a welcoming, safe and professional learning environment for all our students. 

We currently specialise in 3 disciplines; Brazilian Jiu Jitsu, Thai Boxing and Mixed Martial Arts. These are all effective styles of martial art with both sporting and self-defence application.

Some of our students train across the disciplines, whereas others train in just one.
