Darren Yeoman
Head Instructor
Darren, Fightworx Head Instructor established Fightworx in 2008. Darren has been training grappling martial arts for over 26 years and was awarded his Brazilian Jiu Jitsu Black Belt in 2012. He started with Judo and then ventured into Brazilian Jiu Jitsu when it came to the UK. Darren has also trained in a number of other martial arts including; Russian Sambo, Wrestling, Muay Thai, Boxing and MMA to name a few. Darren has mainly competed in Brazilian Jiu Jitsu and submission wrestling tournaments over the last 25years includin the World and European Jiujitsu championships.
Martin Ward
BJJ Instructor
Martin began training Judo in 1986 and has trained in martial arts of all styles ever since, including Muay Thai and MMA. Martin decided to focus on BJJ over 10 years ago and in 2021 was awarded his BJJ Black Belt from Darren Yeoman. Martin is an active competitor who has competed in both Gi and No-Gi on the European and World stage, winning some prestigious gold medals at Black Belt level. Martin is also a qualified UKBJJA Referee.
Joshua Archer
Muay Thai Instructor
Joshua is a Muay Thai Instructor at Fightworx and also offers Personal Training sessions. He has been training in martial arts for over 10 years and holds a Brown Belt in BJJ and a Black Prajoud in Muay Thai. Joshua is an active Muay Thai and MMA competitor. He holds a First Class honours degree in Strength and Conditioning. Josh is the head MMA instructor.
Isaac Bloomberg
BJJ Instructor
Isaac is a BJJ Instructor at Fightworx. Isaac has been training in martial arts since 2000 and took up BJJ in 2011. Over the past 8 years, Isaac has helped develop the beginners BJJ programme at Fightworx. He has travelled the world to study martial arts and spent a number of extended periods in Brazil learning Jiu-Jitsu from the source. In 2021, after his years of dedication, Isaac was awarded his BJJ Black Belt from Darren Yeoman.
Ellis Waring
Muay Thai Instructor
As the Southern ISKA Muay Thai champion Ellis Waring is an incredibly technical and experienced professional fighter and Muay Thai trainer. Ellis is one of our senior Muay Thai instructors conducting classes for both adults and juniors.
Ellis also boasts a blue belt in Brazilian Jiu-jitsu and is currently undefeated in his transition to MMA.

Vikki Todd
Kids BJJ Instructor
Vikki is the Head Instructor of the children's BJJ classes at Fightworx, overseeing the curriculum and development of the whole squad. Vikki has been training in martial arts since age 9 when she started in Karate. She has experience in Muay Thai and MMA, but since 2012 has solely focused on BJJ. In 2021, after years of dedication and hard work, Vikki was awarded her BJJ Black Belt from Darren Yeoman.
Will Newland
BJJ & Wrestling Instructor
Will has over 17 years of experience in martial arts and took up BJJ in 2005. He is an active BJJ competitor with significant wins at a national level. Will leads the Wrestling classes at Fightworx and has experience in Boxing having attained his ABA Boxing Coach certification. Will was awarded his BJJ Black Belt in 2021 from Darren Yeoman.
Josh O’Shea
BJJ Instructor
Josh has competed in MMA at both amateur and pro level. Josh is incredibly knowledgeable and has been training Muay Thai, MMA and BJJ for over 12 years. He holds a BJJ Brown Belt and Black Prajoud in Muay Thai. He has competed at an amateur level in Muay Thai, Boxing and BJJ.

Joe Haywood
Muay Thai Instructor
Joe Haywood boasts an undefeated record in Boxing, Muay Thai and Kickboxing. He also holds a blue belt in Brazilian Jiu-jitsu, and is currently transitioning to MMA, where we expect equally excellent results.
Joe is a Muay Thai instructor at our academy, he instructs classes for both adults and juniors.
Leon Glendinning
BJJ Instructor
Leon has been training Jiujitsu for over 15 years. Starting back when Fightworx first opened in 2009 Leon has trained ever since and was awarded his Black belt from Darren in December 2023. Leon is one of our senior Jiujitsu instructors.
Nathan Halton
Boxing Instructor
Nathan has been Boxing for over 15 years and has competed at amateur and professional levels. He also enjoys grappling and is a Brazilian Jiujitsu blue belt. Nathan runs the Fightworx boxing programme and is currently undefeated in MMA.
Amy Gudegon

Madison Murphy
BJJ Instructor
Madison Murphy is an integral part of our Brazilian Jiu-jitsu coaching team and a purple belt at Fightworx Academy. As an active competitor Madi has recently won bronze medal at the European Jiujitsu championships and secured multiple victories on invitational grappling tournaments.
Madi is an instructor for our junior Jiujitsu team and heads up our female only Jiujitsu program.
